Dr. Matsubara Awarded "IPSJ/ACM Award for Early Career Contributions to Global Research"

Dr. Yasuko Matsubara, IROAST Young Faculty Member for International Joint Research, has been recently awarded the “IPSJ/ACM Award for Early Career Contributions to Global Research” for her research on Analysis of Time-series Data and Nonlinear Dynamic Systems. She is the first winner of this newly established award, which is presented to a young Japanese researcher with internationally distinguished achievements in the information technology field. On June 6, 2018, Dr. Matsubara attended the award ceremony in the IPSJ annual meeting at GakushiKaikan in Tokyo, and she will also be formally honored at the ACM Awards Banquet on June 23 in San Francisco.
