[Activity Report] Visiting Professor Suttichai Assabumrungrat (Chulalongkorn University, Thailand) stayed at Kumamoto University for one week

Prof. Suttichai ASSABUMRUNGRAT (Chulalongkorn University, Department of Chemical Engineering), IROAST Visiting Professor, visited us from October 7 to 11, hosted by Professor Tetsuya KIDA (Faculty of Advanced Science and Engineering) and Professor Armando T. QUITAIN (Center for International Education).

On October 7, the first day of his stay, Prof. Assabumrungrat and his host faculty member, Prof. Quitain, visited Director Takashima.

During his stay at Kumamoto University, he gave a lecture at the IROAST seminar on the 8th, and also held meetings with Prof. Quitain regarding the JSPS Bilateral Collaboration Program (JSPS-NRCT) (FY2023-2025) and the JSPS-NRCT workshop scheduled to be held at Chulalongkorn University from November 28 to 30, 2024, for ongoing joint research.

In addition, he gave advice to students in Kumamoto University on his research papers and how to proceed with his research, and met with international students from Chulalongkorn University who are currently studying at Kumamoto University to discuss their daily lives and other issues.
