Assoc. Prof. Ohira Receives Awards

Associate Professor Shin-Ichi Ohira of FAST, and an IROAST research unit coordinator, has recently received two awards. He won the Kumamoto University Research Activity Award for his outstanding research achievements on November 25th, and was awarded the "Ion Chromatography Technical Award" by the Ion-Chromatography Research Society of the Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry (JSAC) for his development of electrodialytic ion transfer technology for sample pretreatment, enrichment, and separation on December 13th.
