Discontinuation of IROAST Activities upon the Developmental Reorganization of the University-Wide International Research Structure

IROAST has made a substantial contribution to strengthening Kumamoto University’s international profile.

However, to further advance research across the university, IROAST will conclude its activities at the end of the 2024 academic year.

Thereafter, its core functions and initiatives will be continued by the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology and the other relevant organizations, with the aim of promoting further international collaboration and research excellence.
