IROAST held the 26th IROAST Seminar on February 2, 2018. The seminar was organized by Associate Professor Atsushi Sainoki. Professor Derek Elsworth, invited speaker, from the Pennsylvania State University gave a talk entitled "Seismicity-permeability coupling in gas shales, CO2 storage and deep geothermal energy." He received many questions from the interested participants.

Professor Elsworth also visited IROAST Director Hiyama before the seminar and enjoyed the meeting together with Associate Professor Sainoki and Dr. Adam Schwartzkopff from Sainoki Lab.
