Director Hiyama Gave His Speech at the Monthly Lecture Series" SCIENCE and ME" on March 5th, 2021

On March 5th, Dr. Hiyama, the Director of IROAST, was the guest speaker in the lecture series " SCIENCE and ME ". This lecture series is sponsored by the International Research Center for Medical Sciences (IRCMS). The title of his speech was “My Research Life for Half Century-A Long Long Time Ago”. He talked about his 50 years research life starting from his days at Kyoto University as a senior undergraduate and a graduate student following his research life after coming to Kumamoto University. He really enjoyed his research at Kumamoto University and also at overseas universities, Moscow Energy Institute and Clarkson University. Apart from his own research, he has contributed for the development of young excellent researchers and also the development of international joint research networks as the Director of IROAST in these five years.
