We are proud to announce that Associate Professor Sainoki’s research proposal was selected for the FOREST (Fusion Oriented Research for disruptive Science and Technology) program (創発的研究支援事業) by JST (Japan Science and Technology Agency). He is our IROAST alumnus and he is currently acting as IROAST International Joint Research Faculty Member.
Four faculty members of Kumamoto University were selected this year, and one of them, Assistant Professor Inomata, is a member of the IROAST Research Cluster "Nano-materials for Energy Applications and Environmental Protection (coordinated by Prof. Kida)", and has been supported by IROAST since last year under the Young Faculty Member Support Program for New IROAST Major Research Area.
