IROAST Research Internship Program Hosted by Dr. SAINOKI Started This Week

An “IROAST Hybrid Research Internship Program” hosted by Associate Prof. Atsushi SAINOKI (IROAST International Joint Research Faculty Member/FAST) started this week with the participation of Mr. Pimao LI, a Master course student at Shandong University of Science and Technology in China.

During an online orientation before coming to Japan, Mr. Li was briefed on the program schedule, goals, and instructions on the onsite internship at Kumamoto University, which will begin on October 7, and discussed his research plan.

Dr. Sainoki's acceptance of students from Shandong University of Science and Technology through this internship program has been ongoing every year and has led to the University's acquisition of excellent students from abroad.

The internship is scheduled to conduct for 8 weeks until the end of November 2024.
We hope that this internship will be a rewarding experience for Mr. Li.
