IROAST Research Internship Program hosted by Prof. OHIRA have been started!

The “IROAST Hybrid Research Internship Program” hosted by Prof. Shin-Ichi OHIRA, an International Joint Research Faculty Member at IROAST, started, and Mr. Rahmat HIDAYAT, who is a young researcher from Politeknik Negeri Lampung in Indonesia, joins the program.

On the first day of the program, Prof. Ohira, Mr Hidayat and Mr. Ganjar Fadillah, a member of Prof. Ohira’s research cluster “Separation, Synthesis, and Detection by Means of Ionic Solutes Handling”, connected online for an orientation session. Mr. Hidayat received explanation on the program's schedule and goals, as well as some important precautions for his on-site internship at Kumamoto University, which will begin on December 5, and they discussed the research plans.

The internship program will last for about 8 weeks until the end of January, 2023.

We hope it will be a meaningful internship for Mr. Hidayat!
