IROAST Visiting Professor HARTMANN stays at Kumamoto University

Professor Jens HARTMANN of IROAST Visiting Professor came to Kumamoto Univrsity from Universität Hamburg, Germany on March 25, 2024 and and is currently staying at IROAST.
On March 29, he met IROAST Director TAKASHIMA together with Prof. HARTMANN's host faculty, Prof. Takahiro HOSONO (IROAST International Joint Research Faculty Member/FAST). Prof. HARTMANN and Prof. HOSONO have been collaborating for many years and are working on an international co-authored paper during this visit.

Director TAKASHIMA handed Prof. HARTMANN a letter of appointment from the President of Kumamoto University as a visiting professor for the fiscal year 2024 and gave explanations about the outline of IROAST with the latest pamphlet.

Prof. HARTMANN is scheduled to stay at Kumamoto University until April 9.
