Today, a new paper by Associate Professor Atsushi SAINOKI, an IROAST International Joint Research Faculty Member, entitled "A conceptual three-dimensional frictional model to predict the effect of the intermediate principal stress based on the Mohr-Coulomb and Hoek-Brown failure criteria" has been released online in International Journal of Rock Mechanics and Mining Sciences, the most prestigious and high IF journal in rock mechanics Sciences.
The first author is Dr. Adam K. Schwartzkopff, formerly a postdoctoral researcher at IROAST and now a Senior Lecturer, Department of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering, the University of Western Australia.
This is also the result of research by an IROAST Research Cluster “Development of Microbially-Aided Carbon Sequestration Technology” coordinated by Dr. SAINOKI.
