One Student from China Stays for 8 Weeks in IROAST Internship Program Coordinated by Dr. CAI

On December 5, 2023, Mr. Xiangsheng DENG, a Ph.D. student in Zhengzhou University (China) and Dr. Gaochuang CAI who is Mr. DENG's host faculty visited Director Takashima at the start of his on-site IROAST research internship program. Mr. DENG has already started the program remotely since last month before visiting Japan and has been interacting with students and researchers at the CAI's lab.
He will work on hands-on research on fire resistance of reinforced concrete and preparing joint papers with Dr. CAI during his stay for 8 weeks.
