Online Meeting with Universitas Negeri Malang (UM)

On August 29, an online meeting was held with the Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Indonesia. The meeting was proposed by Prof. A. N. Afandi, Vice Rector of UM, who is also an alumnus of Kumamoto University, and was attended by Prof. Afandi, Prof. Markus Diantoro (Head of Research Institute and Community Engagement, UM), and Dr. Agnisa Wisesa (UM) as well as IROAST Director Kazuki Takashima and Prof. Makiko Kobayashi (IROAST International Joint Research Faculty Member / FAST, Kumamoto University). After an introduction of the two universities, they discussed the possibility of exchanging researchers and conducting collaborative research. Both agreed to conclude an exchange agreement to contribute to fostering researchers at both universities.
