TA Thi Hoai -Voice of Internship Students

Q: What brought you to participate in the IROAST Internship?

I have some difficulties in my research. My supervisor at Kumamoto University suggested applying for the IROAST Internship. The internship would help me perform experiments at Kumamoto University, discuss with the professor, produce research data, and solve this issue.

Q: What did you learn /enjoy from participating in the internship?

I graduated from the PhD course at Kumamoto University so I am familiar with life here and have no difficulties during the internship. The IROAST internship faciliated me perform the hydraulic conductivity test and X-ray CT scanning of my specimens of geopolymer for my research. I am currently writing paper and submitting the manuscript of this research to the International Journal. I hope to receive good news.

Also, the internship gave me a lot of chances to enjoy Kumamoto again such as visiting the horse festival, experiencing Japanese culture, and meeting new friends. These are some pictures I saved as unmemorable moments during the IROAST internship in Kumamoto.
