JST Sakura Science Plan participants visits IROAST

On July 11, 2019, fifteen graduate students from leading universities in the Southeast Asia, Republic of Korea and Latin America, who were visiting Kumamoto University through the JST Sakura Science Plan, visited IROAST. Accompanied by Professor Armando T. Quitain from College of Cross-cultural and Multidisciplinary Studies, the students were warmly welcomed by IROAST Director Hiyama, and listened to the director’s introduction of his organization. Then they visited Lee Laboratory and Higaki Laboratory, and had a briefing about their research and lab equipment respectively from Associate Professor Ruda Lee and Dr. Akiko Nakamasu from Higaki Laboratory.
