Dr. Ramesh Pillai, one of our visiting professors from University of Geneva, gave special lectures to undergraduate and graduate students in School of Science on December 20, 2016. He talked about "Noncoding genome and germline small RNAs in suppression of transposable elements."

Dr. Pillai also had a brief but pleasant meeting with IROAST’s Director Prof. Hiyama and Prof. Tani in the morning.
