SYMPOSIUM & SEMINAR

January 22(Mon.), 2018: IROAST&IRCMS Joint Seminar on Bioengineering-Cutting Edge Collaborations -25th IROAST Seminar-held on January 22, 2018

Jan 22, 2018

The 25th IROAST Seminar, IROAST & IRCMS Joint Seminar on Bioengineering-Cutting Edge Collaborations, was held on January 22, 2018. The seminar was organized by IROAST Vice Director Jun Otani and IROAST Distinguished Professor Yufeng Zheng. Following the organizers' opening remarks, five speakers from medical and engineering organizations gave presentations on their research.

-25th IROAST Seminar-

Jan 22, 2018

IROAST and IRCMS will have a joint seminar about Bioengineering-Cutting Edge Collaborations.

This seminar is expected to attract a high level of interest. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you at the seminar.

<Seminar Abstract>
This seminar aims the enhancement of research activity on Bioengineering. In this seminar, we have three presentations from each organization and then, at the end of the seminar, we have so called “discussion session” in which the purpose is to discuss the next step of the collaboration between medicine (including pharmacy) and engineering (including science) at Kumamoto University. To do so, we have total of 5 short presentations from engineering and science faculties about the seeds on bioengineering study.

Finally, we hope that the research on bioengineering with medical researchers can be continued and new research group on this topic start after this seminar.
