On December 20, 2017, IROAST Visiting Professor Amir A. Farajian from the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, Wright State University, USA gave a talk at the 23rd IROAST Seminar－IPPS Lecture & Seminar No. 36. The seminar was organized by Professor Hamid Hosseini of the Institute of Pulsed Power Science. In Professor Farajian's interesting talk entitled "Modeling electronic and thermal currents in nanosystems for sensor and energy applications," he spoke about nanoelectrochemical and nanoelectromechanical sensing, his experimental achievements and other related topics. The participants also had a fruitful discussion with him.

Professor Farajian also had a pleasant meeting with IROAST Director Takashi Hiyama on the same day.
