The 35th IROAST Seminar was held on October 4, 2018. The seminar was organized by Associate Professor Takahiro Hosono from the Priority Organization for lnnovation and Excellence (POIE). As his opening remarks, Associate Professor Hosono introduced the seminar's sponsor IROAST and the speaker, an IROAST Visiting Professor Dr. Jens Hartmann from the Institute for Geology, Universität Humburg, Germany. Professor Hartmann gave a talk entitled "The role of weathering in the carbon cycle at different time scales." Interested participants listened attentively to his talk.
