[Activity Report] Visiting Professor Youn-Woo LEE (Seoul National University, Korea) stayed at Kumamoto University for one week

An IROAST Visiting Professor, Dr. Youn-Woo LEE (Seoul National University, Korea), visited us from July 25 to July 30, hosted by Dr. Mitsuru SASAKI (IROAST International Joint Research Faculty Member/Associate Professor, IINa, Kumamoto University).

On July 26 , he gave a lecture in the IROAST seminar organized by Dr. SASAKI and lab members from Kida Labolatory also attended.

On July 29, with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the world's largest semiconductor contract manufacturer, constructing a plant in Kumamoto, and with more than 50 semiconductor-related companies gathering in Kumamoto, and with Kumamoto University also focusing on semiconductor-related research and education, Dr. Lee took this opportunity to meet with Dr. Takeshi MOMOSE in the Research and Education Institute for Semiconductors and Informatics (REISI) in Kumamoto University to discuss the possibility of joint research.
After that, he paid a courtesy visit to Prof. TAKASHIMA of IROAST Director together with Dr. SASAKI and reported about his activity during this stay in the university. 

Besides, he had a meeting with Dr. Sasaki and Dr. Quitain and discussed about the future plan of joint research and visited Sasaki's lab and advised his graduate students on improvements to experimental setup.
