Director Hiyama visited University of Valladolid on January 29 and 30

Our Director, Prof. Hiyama, visited the University of Valladolid in Valladolid, Spain on January 29 and 30 to meet one of our Visiting Professors, Prof. Maria Jose Cocero, to talk about our further research collaboration. A former Young Faculty Member, Dr. Armando Quitain had joined her research group and he was about to end his stay of six months there. Director Hiyama also met the Vice Rector, Dr. Jose Ramon Lopez Lopez to introduce the aims and activities of IROAST and also to talk about further collaborations between the University of Valladolid and Kumamoto University. In addition, Director Hiyama also had the opportunity to introduce IROAST to the academic staff, doctoral course students, and postdoctoral researchers at the Department of Chemical Engineering & Environmental Technology.
