One Student from China to Stay for 6 Weeks for IROAST Internship Program Coordinated by Dr. CAI

Mr. Dan YUAN who is a master student in Xi'an University of Technology (China) came to Kumamoto University to receive face-to-face supervision under the "IROAST Hybrid Research Internship Program" coordinated by Associate Prof. Gaochuang CAI (IROAST) and visited Director Takashima of IROAST for greetings on August 2.

Mr. Yuan has already received online guidance prior to visit to Kumamoto University in June and July and is expected to have a smooth practical work experience in the Cai Lab.

He was originally scheduled to stay until late September, but his internship period was shortened from eight to six weeks because he will be an exchange student at Kumamoto University for six months from October under an agreement between Kumamoto University and Xi'an University of Technology, and he needs time to prepare for this.

He will receive direct supervision from Dr. CAI until September 10.
