Micro- and Nanomechanics of Materials Science & Biological Systems

It is no exaggeration to say that mechanics is the discipline that governs all phenomena and all matter in this world. Mechanics are even in the finest details, appearing not only at the cellular level but also in the interactions at the atomic and molecular levels, which you can refer to this as micro- and nanomechanics. Our research cluster is dedicated to elucidating unknown functions and phenomena that express at the micro and nano levels in nanomaterials, biological tissues, and cells, utilizing advanced measurement technologies from the aspect of mechanics. Our aim is to leverage these insights obtained to contribute to medicine, biology, and materials science.
