Research interest

The purpose of our research is to develop palm-sized medical devices for cancer detection, postoperative management, therapy, and drug discovery based on the signals emitted by cells and cells themselves (such as proteins and genes expressed and produced), their responses to stimuli, and the characteristics and properties of cells, such as cell morphology and new technologies to realize such devices.

Ultimately, we will integrate the various elements described above according to the purpose, and try to realize a comprehensive medical system that can consistently perform everything from early detection of cancer to identification of the primary tumor, treatment, and drug administration.
